Full-page Coca-Cola advertisements appeared in 188 issues of National Geographic magazines from April 1933 through June 1965. Coca-Cola ran additional ads in four more issues in 1977 through 1979. December 1978 and January 1979 issues had the same ad. All the ads appeared on the back cover of the magazines with the exception of 6 issues: August 1933, October 1933, June 1977, November 1978, December 1978 and January 1979. The most memorable Santa ads created by Haddon Sundblom appeared in 28 of the December issues: 1933-1942, 1947-1964.

In 1987 we bought a six pack of 6 1/2 ounce bottles that were money back refund
glass bottles.

We noticed that one of the cokes had a Dr Pepper cap. All the
other bottles had the coke caps and we bought them in Shreveport La.

We would
like to know if this has any value because of the Coke, Pepsi and Dr Pepper
connection.

We have kept it and have not opened it and have been told it may
be worth something.

Anyone out there have any idea or concrete advice. Or
who we can contact?
Does anyone know when Coke, Dr Pepper and Pepsi
split?

Hi, I noticed you say there are 188 Coco Cola ads from 1933 to 1965. I have
counted only 186. Is there a checklist of exact issues? I thought I had a
complete collection. Thank you
