Coca-Cola Expedition 206 will be sending a team of 3 ambassadors chosen by Coca-Cola fans to visit 206 countries around the world starting in January 2010. They will participate in events including the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, FIFA World Cup in South Africa and World Expo in Shanghai. Three finalist teams of Happiness Ambassadors are: Team the Mix (Tony, Kelly, Toño), Team Wow (Erin, Brendan, Greer) and Sha-Ba-Ba-Doo (Dave, Jo, Samuel). Coca-Cola Opens 39th Plant in China |

Coca-Cola opens its 39th bottling plant in China today in the city of Wuhan. The CNY 600 million (USD 88 million) plant is the third plant opening in 2009. The Wuhan plant is the largest single investment in still beverage production in China in history. The 38th plant in China opened in Urumqi in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on June 24, 2009 and was attended by Muhtar Kent, Chairman and CEO of the Coca-Cola Company. Plant No. 37 opened on June 23 in Nanchang in Jiangxi Province. A new Chinese plant is planned to open in Inner Mongolia in 2010.

Coca-Cola to Launch 7.5 oz Cans |

Coca-Cola North America announced today its plans to launch 7.5oz aluminum can packages in Washington D.C. and New York City in December 2009. These smaller cans will be available throughout the United States by March 2010. Coca-Cola products that will be available in these 90-calorie mini cans include Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta Orange, Cherry Coca-Cola and Barq’s Root Beer. These mini cans will come in 8-packs.

Coca-Cola Launches Minute Maid Pulpy Super Milky drink in China |

Coca-Cola China launches its first dairy beverage for the Chinese market under the Minute Maid brand. Available in three flavors: peach, mango and pineapple, Minute Maid Pulpy Super Milky drink, comes in 450ml packages and are available in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangdong areas. The new dairy beverage will soon be available in 300 cities throughout Chinese mainland before end of 2009. Retail price is CNY 3.8.
